The zipper on this product is quite poor, and broke after a few months. It is made of cheap plastic and quite small. Not recommended.

We had trouble with the zippers coming off the tracks and getting material stuck in them and jamming. Maybe we should have bought a bigger size but the full-size encastment on the full mattress ruptured the zipper open after about a week and my daughter started getting bites again.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE NEVER HAD BB I DO FEEL SAFE WITH THESE PROTECTORS. NOW I NOTICED THE ZIPPER IS VERY LIGHT AND TODAY WHEN MY MAID WAS CHANGING SHEETS SHE INFORMED ME THE ZIPPER WAS OFF THE TRAC ON THE PROTECTOR. WELL OF COURSE YOU CANT PUT IT BACK ON SO I NOTICED THE PRICE ON AMAZON HAS GONE UP AND SEARCHED AROUND AND SAW THAT J C PENNY HAS THEM FOR 49.00.
I CAN;T SEE HOW YOU CAN TAKE THESE OFF AND WASH THEM THEY ARE TOO FRAGILE TO BE MESSED AROUND WITH ONCE THEY ARE ON.
SO I GUESS AFTER A YEAR CHANGING THEM IS NOT BAD FOR 49.00. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD LIKE IF I HAD TO WASH IT.
